Many adults over 50 don’t drink enough water throughout the day, and dehydration can affect your energy, make you feel hungrier than you really are, and even contribute to stiff joints.

A simple starting goal is to drink about half your body weight in ounces of water each day. (For example, if you weigh 150 pounds, aim for about 75 ounces.)
